Cupertino FBLA’s Partnership with Business Committee and Their Work with First Generation Investors

By: William Cao

Throughout the past year, Cupertino High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club has partnered with First Generation Investors to pilot their first high school program. First Generation Investors, a non-profit started by three Wharton graduates Dylan Ingerman, Alex Ingerman, and Cole Mattox, hopes to educate students about the importance of investing. The non-profit does this by partnering with universities around the country to teach local high schools an 8-week long workshop that covers the fundamentals of investing. After students participate in the 8-week workshop, they are given $100 of real money to invest.
